Species Description
Large crustacean with very long antennae covered with sharp spines growing to 60 cm or more. Lacks large claws found on the American lobster in the Atlantic.
Species Habitat
Found in crevices during the day and out on the reef or in the sand foraging by night.
Species Range
Intertidal to subtidal 60 m; San Luis Obispo, California to Baja California, Mexico.
