Species Description
Nudibranch - Elogate dorid; background color deep blue with 4 longitudinal series of yellow spots (one on each side of the foot, and the others laterally on the dorsum.) Lighter blue band found along margin of dorsum and foot. Rhinophores and branchial plumes are dark blue-black. Size up to 64 mm.
Species Habitat
Generally subtidal, feeds on sponges Stelleta and Haliclona.
Species Range
Monterey Bay, California, to Coronado Island, Baja California, Mexico.
