Species Description
Creased between arms distinguish Henricia sanguinolenta from Henricia leviuscula. Color is usually white to light pink. The fat blood star is fround on rocks and soft bottoms. Females brood their eggs. SAMPLING CODE NOTES: _ _ _R=Recruit <2.5 cm.

Subtidal depths to 2400 m; Circumpolar.
Species Range
Circumpolar, south to Massachusetts, n. Alaska to California.
