Species Description
Has a more or less transparent, slender stolon. Broadest at the base, around 0.25 mm in diameter but typically smaller, it lessens in size upward to about half of the basal width. The pedicel can reach 2 mm or more in length but is usually smaller.
Species Habitat
Littoral and usually found on the piles of docks or at low tide.This species is cosmopolitan.
Species Range
Alaska to La Jolla, California.
