Species Description
Column to 5 cm in diameter and covered with adhesive tentacles. Abundant tentacles are long, tapering and pale pink, dark blue, white, red or orange. The tentacles can be a solid color or have patterns of colors. The tubercles are well developed on the upper column of this anemone.
Species Habitat
Typically attached to rocks buried in sand.
Species Range
Intertidal to 30 m; Alaska to Southern California.
