Species Description
Red Alga - blades bluish-red with rough, wrinkled or puckered surfaces. Blades entire, round to kidney shaped to 40 cm tall, can be as wide or wider, 150 - 300 µm. Usually no stipe, 1 or sometimes several arising from small fleshy holdfast. Gland cells numerous visible in cross section, medullary filaments well separated
