Species Description
Usually covered with encrusting organisms. Solitary. Exposed siphons have flared-rimmed opening. Reaches 5-8 cm in diameter but usually less. Tough and leathery.

Found on rocks.
Species Range
Low intertidal to 200 m; Aleutian Islands, Alaska to Southern California.
