Species Description
Unmistakable, the only overall bright yellow bird and the only species with yellow spots on the tail. Includes subspecies: erithachorides, palmarum, hypochrysea
Species Habitat
Common and widespread in any wet brushy habitat, such as willow thickets.
Species Range
Migratory. Breeds throughout most of the US and Canada during the summer months, winters mostly in tropics. Rare visitor in the winter to the southwest.
