Species Description
A short-spired, solid shell with six or seven varices that are folded back and joined to varices of earlier whorls. There is a deep pit that occurs behind the varices at the suture. It is dingy white and the varices are brown with smooth whitish areas between varices. Height 25-40 mm.
Species Habitat
Common on the sides of boulders.
Species Range
Sublittoral to 15 m; Point Estero, California to San Bartolome Bay, Central Baja California, Mexico.
