Species Description
Right-eye flatfish named for distinctive half-moon and dot marking on tail forming a C-O pattern. Mottled, color variable, often with dark mid-body spot. Length to 35 cm.
Species Habitat
Soft and rocky bottoms. Sometimes buried in sandy bottom. Subtidal.
Species Range
Southeastern Alaska to Cape Colnett, Baja California.
