Species Description
Up to 45 mm height with tall spire. Whorls slightly rounded. Axial ribs low but well defined, spiral ribs faint. Few rounded varices near base. Shell brown with lighter columella. Operculum with multiple spirals.
Species Habitat
Abundant on mudflats, hight intertidal zone in protected bays.
Species Range
Tomales Bay, Marin County to Laguna San Ignacio, Baja California.
