Species Description
Small and slender long-tailed oriole with slightly curved bill. Male shows orange crown and extensive black face. Female drabber overall and has a longer tail.
Species Habitat
Uncommon in open wooded or brushy habitats, often near fan palms.
Species Range
Migratory. Distributed through the southwestern United States, most of Mexico, and south into Belize.
