Species Description
Small sandpiper, slightly drooping bill. Pale face and breast, dark legs. Slightly larger than Least and Semipalmated Sandpipers, but smaller than Dunlin.
Species Habitat
Common on mudflats and sandy beaches.
Species Range
Migratory. Breeds in Alaska, winters along the Pacific coast of North America and the south Atlantic coast.
