Species Description
Much branched, trailing, prostrate annual or biennial; 8-24 inches long. Leaves succulent with shining vesicles, flat and ovate; 3/4 to 4 inches long. Showy flowers with many linear petals, white fading to pink; blooms March-October.
Species Habitat
Common by coastal bluffs, cliffs, disturbed ground.
Species Range
Native to South Africa. Spread to California, Channel Islands, Mexico, Arizona, Mediterranean and South America.
